Hey everyone, very new to this forum and very new to riding! My bike: 2000 F4, always wanted this bike since I was in high school, to me it was the coolest looking bike and now I've got what I wanted, and love that thing! I hope to learn a lot more about bikes from this forum, to start off I think I need info on storing.. was going through some threads and learned that starting the bike while its being stored is actually not good for the bike.. just bought a trickle charger and connected it while the battery is still on the bike.. should it be removed? what do u guys think?

RE: Trickle Charger: No worries to leaving it attached while the battery is in the bike. Some brands like BatteryTender have quick release type connectors such that all you have to do is plug in as necessary.

Still trying to figure this forum out lol... I actually did a lot of the work on the bike myself :) I bought from a person who had dropped it, and it was UGLY... he rattle canned the whole bike and didnt even do a good job of that.. not complaining, he sold it to me cheap and I went to work.. gonna post some pics of how this beauty came to be ;)
