Default New F4i owner...

Hello everyone.... I've been riding an 05 250 for 9 months and I've put around 10k+ miles on it. I decided to move up a notch. I've always wanted an f4I. I just think they're sexy. After a long month asking the guy to hold it off for me, I finally got it tonight.. I've tested other f4i before, so I know how it's supposed to handle, but mine has a hard time turning left. I suspect it's because the bike has been lowered too damn much or wrongly.. The owner lowered it so low that If not carefully you can drag parts... I will take the bike to the mechanic and have them bring it back up. I'm only 5'6, but I think I can handle it.. Hopefully that's the only reason it's not steering.. I know I'm still a noob after 9 months, but I'm sure it's the bike.

got it for 3000 with 6k+ on her and in pristine conditions... super sexy..

Welcome to CBRF! Do it yourself. You'll save some money and get to know your new bike. Post some pictures of it. Have you checked tire pressure? That can also make it handle like crap.

If it has a problem turning left due to an incorrect geometry then the same issue would apply to turning right...

Make sure they didn't just cut the spring on the rear shock. I've seen that way too many times over the years and it just kills the handling period. The second issue is lowering the front end by adjusting the triple clamp down the fork tubes which causes the bike to fight you as you lean into the turn and even more so when trailbraking.

Thank you guys... I got the bike raised up. According to the guys, it was lowered 3 and half inches, and it wasn't lowered properly which basically ****ed up the handling... I lower just 1 inch from stock, so that i can still flat footed it..

It handles beautifully.. I'm back to riding like I used to...

I wanna post pics of it, but don't c how to do it... someone help plz...
