hello everyone, names jeremy. new to the forum old to riding. been riding suzukis for the most part, my first honda was the 750 intercetpor. have been riding 750s and up and have recently just bought my first 2000 honda cbr 600 f4. 13000 miles to date and had check at a shop. they said it was in great condition. is a blast in the hills on the curves. i do have a question though. is it normal for this bike to feel like your taking off in 2nd at first and then feel power up? no problems with shifting and it flies. am i just used to the instant power of the bigger bikes?

 

welcome to the forum jeremy. initial takeoff on the inline 600's can seem a bit un-peppy; it's in the upper revs that things get exciting.

 

glad to hear, i was wondering if i was gonna need valve adjustment or something but it runs so smooth.
