New CBR600 owner Oregon

So I Just picked up a 1989 CBR600. The bikes been raced for sure and has some minor issues, which I am working out. But despite the issues, wow what a bike! It handles great, goes like a bat out of hell, and seems incredibly stable.

Now the work that I am doing and what else needs to be done. It sat for a couple years, so I checked the tank, no rust, but the carbs needed cleaning and to be synced. Put new diablos on it. New front fork seals are the current project along with adjusting the exhaust so I can install the stock rear footpeg brackets. (any ideas how to do this? I've taken all the bolts off but can't budge the thing, hopefully soaking it in WD-40 over night will help?) the upper and lower cowl need help and will be next on the list this summer. I am missing the airbox ducts which I am having a hard time locating if anyone has an leads I'd be very appreciative, my local salvage shop didn't have any and I can't locate them on eBay. The cowl piece that goes around the instrument cluster and covers the wiring is also missing.

Regardless of everything I can't believe how well this bike runs and how fast it is for an old gal. I'll post pics when I'm done with the fork seals and have her back on her feet. Any suggestions on any other issues i should look for would be much appreciated. Thanks for looking! Ride safe.

Welcome to CBRF. I think WD40 will work on frozen bolts.

The issue isn't the bolt. I don't think they used any mesh so I think the pipes have fused together from constant reexpansion. Cuz I beat it pretty hard with literally no results! Thanks all for the warm welcome!

Pipe is fixed! Used a heat torch and it came off easy. Not sure why it took me this long to try it! Pics are up in the photo gallery of how she looks now.
