Default New CBR Rider from Connecticut

Hey All,

I have posted on the forum a few times now and I realized I never really introduced myself. I'm Chris, I just picked up a 2000 CBR F4 at the end of January.

It was in pretty decent shape when I got it, but rough in some spots. The bike has 42,300 miles on it but runs great so far.

When I got it, it had some scuffs and scratches on the fairings, and no front fender at all. I touched up the scuffs and ordered a black front fender. The tail light brackets were broken and the light was just floating around in the tail along with a home made undertail that looked really bad. I fabricated a bracket and got a nice fiberglass undertail so the tail light and undertail looks like it should.

I also got new bar ends, new mirrors and I'm waiting on new intake duct cover plastic pieces (the ones that connect to the gas tank).

I changed the oil and cleaned all the dirt and grime off of the bike. Here is what it looks like now. Let me know what you guys think.

I'm from northern CT so my buddy and I like to ride out on route 6 towards Rhode Island to the beach in Westerly when its nice out. We also cruise around UConn around 195 and all the different roads off of 195 like 44 & 32. They pretty much go all over the state. How about you?

All over but probably most of the time through northwest CT, I live a little SW of Hartford. Lots of pretty scenery up by the Mass border and then down around the NY border. Can easily kill 6 hours doing that loop.
