New CBR owner saying HI!
Dropping in to give the obligatory "hello" to the forum members! I just bought a 2006 CBR 600RR to add to the stable whichwill be primarily a track bike with occasional Sunday back road blasts as well. As such, I am outfitting it accordingly with an Ohlins steering damper, Woodcraft engine cases, and clear DB wind screen to start with. Suspension will be addressed next!
Got one hell of a deal on it since I picked it up from a younger guy that scared himself on it and decided to unload it. 1800 miles, transferrable warrantee until 2011, Yosh slip-on, integrated tail light, Competition Werkes tag bracket, and flush mounts up front. Gave him $4500 cash for it!
Anyways, I have been riding for over 30 years and am a track junky and finally decided to get something more track worthy! Hope I made a decent choice with this one!

Thanks for the welcome!
The bike had Texas tags on it, but I am in NC and will be registering it here in NC as well! I am in a military town and the original owner bought it at home and brought it here with him.
I am already registered for a couple track days over the next couple monmths, so I look forward to getting it out there! Roebling Road on April 2nd and Kershaw in May! Woo hoo!
