What is up everyone. I'm here to learn as much as I can about my new "used" bike. I have a 1998 Honda CBR 600 F3. I have been trying for years to find a ride and now I have the chance to join the fun. Plz and thank you for your future help lol.

Welcome to the forum Jmfottj,
Looks like she needs a little TLC which you are already on with, hopefully just cosmetic. How does she run?
Cheers
Al

Yes been going non stop on cleaning it up. Well mechanically she is good. But the previous owner let her sit with petcock open and full of gas for 3 years. So I pulled the carbs and cleaned the gunk all out. Today I get my new set of spark plug wires bc the old ones were shot. I will post if she starts up like she did before finding all the problems lol. Really just new gas lines, pump, fuel filter, air filter, spark plugs and wire. So far that's it. Well and a oil change.

This is the scheme that @hamlin6 has. What thoughts have you given regarding the aesthetics on it? Keeping original or making changes?

If parts its OEM or closest to it. At the moment repairing my fairing 1 major hole and a couple minor cracks, then haveing them wrapped in a picture of a thousand galaxies, or dipped to look like mid 90s color scheme. Not keeping the black and burgundy.
