Just bought an 01 CBR600F4i project bike. Thought it would be a good project with my son. Finding out that aftermarket plastics do not fit very well. Also the fender eliminator fits terrible also. Trial by error seems to be our moto.

Congrats on getting your F4i. I think it would make an excellent father & son project. Great that you can share in that.

Yep, some aftrmrkt plastics can be problematic in fitting. Sorry you experienced that.

What type of FE do you have?

We have a very active F4i section here that can help w/ mods, etc.
