Default New CBR member saying Hello

Hello, I just registered and thought I'd introduce myself.
I'm Eddie - I have a motorcycle problem.
Just bought and 06 CBR1000RR from ProCycle in Springfield, MO.
The black beauty cost me $8999 out the door. I've got 200 miles on it so far and really love the engine.
The ergonomics are another issue. The cramped riding position is killing me. I'll be taking steps to make it more comfortable.
So far I've ordered a ZG sport-touring shield in dark smoke, swingarm spools, new grips and cyclecat adjustable rearsets.
I tried to order LSL Handlebars yesterday and they are not available for this bike at this time.
I had Convertibars on my 03 R1 and they helped alot but really didn't want them on the Honda.
I checked out the Helibars this morning, up 1 3/4 back 2". Anybody got these and what do you think.
The bike runs great and isn't near as hot as the R1.
Well here's the bike problem.
This year I have bought and or sold the following.
06 R1 - yellow and black, better egro's than the Honda but the heat was too much. Honda is much easier to ride.
04 Aprilia Tuono - great bike just didn't make me want to ride
06 GoldWing - took the fun out of riding.
06 CBR1000RR in black - dern good looking bike. Soon to be moded for more comfort. I don't see a need for any power mods. This thing comes up with the slightest twist of the grip.

Previous recent bikes.
03 FZ1
03 R1
04 Aprilia Futura
98 Honda ST1100
98 Moto Guzzi V11EV
03 KLR400
(all gone)

welcome to the forum eddie! looks like you've gone through quite a selection of bikes the RR's are definitely not known for their comfort but most people who buy 'em are aware of that. i believe there's a member or two on here with helibars, corbins, etc on their RR's. i'm sure they will come out of the woodwork soon enough congrats on your 1000RR! post pics when you get a chance.
