New CBR fan & rider in general!

Hey guys, I just stumbled upon this forum and figured I'd sign up.

I've been riding for about 3 weeks now. I took the MSF basic rider course in early-mid August and bought my step-moms 2006 CBR 600F4i and gear of my own a day later. (ATGATT!)

Not a day has gone by that I haven't been out riding since I got the bike, literally. It had 1560 miles on it when I got it, I just passed the 2000 mark yesterday. I am completely addicted.

As for a bit about myself, I live in Upstate NY, I'm 19, going to a local college right now (I am excited to make the 10 minute commute multiple times a day now!). I'm a huge fan of anything with an engine. Cars, bikes, tanks... you name it, I'm probably a fan. In the colder months you'll find me on the ski slopes. Here are some pics! Attachment 36296

The bike is completely stock right now, I don't have much spare cash right now, but I was thinking of swapping out the bulky front blinkers for a more flush style, same with the rear. Perhaps an eliminator kit too (I think that's what it's called...).

Welcome to the forum...and the world of riding motorcycles.
You must have the coolest step mom for having that bike! You are a lucky guy. Ride safe out there. Keep the rubber down.

Welcome to CBRF!

Nice F4i. Take care of it & it will last you for a l-o-n-g time.

Kudos for taking the MSF course & recognizing the need for safety in wearing your gear. If all new motorcyclists had this attitude, there would be more responsible riders on the road.

Enjoy the forum.

NICE bike I love the blue. welcome to the forum Im new myself and everyone has been super nice and helpful. and yes a fender eliminator, integrated taillight, and flushmount turns would be a nice addition to your bike. should also get the led blinker relay so you dont have to use resistors to fix the fast blink condition.

Thanks for the warm welcomes guys. I've learned lots of things on this forum from only browsing for a few days already!
