Hi

Just bought a 1988 CBR 1000f Hurricane. Only 18,000 miles. I currently own a Sportster custom 1200. She's gonna be jealous. I love the Hurricane. I paid $2375. I was wondering if that was a good price. Carbs were just done, Brand new tires. Its in great condition.

Would love to get info on things I can do to her or curious if I should just keep it stock. It also has a new corbin "gunslinger" seat. Or at least that's what I think it's called.

Welcome and not too bad a deal at all considering new tires etc etc... Stop by the 1000F
section and say hello with some pics too, most of us Hurricaneers keep 'em stock but a
few make some radical changes or drag race 'em etc. But there you go each to their own
way of thinking I suppose.......always a good discussion on that subject.

The 12 is definitely gonna be jealous! The Hurricane has TONS of bottom end torque, plus kick butt mid and topend that she just doesn't have. Plus they are fairly comfortable too. Sounds like you got a pretty good deal on her too..Congrats!
