Default New, Canadian

Just wanted to say Hey...figured as a CBR owner I should be a member of the forum for recreational and mechanical purposes.
I'm in Ottawa, just picked up my F4i in June, always wanted this bike and dumped my EX500 for it when it was selling for a price I couldn't refuse.
Love the bike, hate the seat. It hurts my a$$ if I ride for more than 45 mins.

Just saying hi to all the members with my bike!

Welcome to the board. The seats are something to get used to and appreciate at a later date[8D]

Really, you think I can just get used to it? I never fully understood/appreciated when ppl talked about the CBR plywood seats until I owned one. I looked into corbins but they are bigger than the stock seats. I don't have a problem with seat height, but I like the low-profile look of the factory pad. I don't want my *** to fall off during rides, but I don't want to replace my board with a la-z-boy either, you know? I'm awaiting news on a quote from Bill Mayer seats, thinking maybe that's an in-between option. But nevermind because they just emailed me back telling me I could have a solo seat for $560 USD. No thanks. I'll let my *** break instead...

Welcome. I agree the seats suck. My *** hurts after a short time, just have to deal or get a new seat.

hello and welcome. i agree with the seat, but you will learn different ways to sit during different riding in order to be more comfortable. still not a lay-z-boy by any means though.
