New Bike and Loving it
Hello all,
I just bought my first bike (2000 CBR F4) yesterday morning, registered it today, and found this forum this afternoon. I'll put a picture up as soon as I figure out how, shouldn't take too long. Within the first 24 hours of owning it I've put over 100 miles on it. Absolutely loving it.
Basically, my goal with this bike is to never have to take it in to a mechanic and do all the work myself (with a few buddies of course).
Anyway. I'm excited to finally be on two wheels and this will definitely be my go-to place for help, info and ideas.

Welcome to the CBR Forum Ivan,
Wow, I feel your excitement! Congratulations on the bike, and glad you're enjoying riding it so much. Remember - All The Gear All The Time (ATGATT).
You wont be able to post pictures until after moderation, so keep posting in the forum and you'll be cleared soon enough.
Cheers, SB

I am having some trouble getting everything started.
I know I need to replace the chain and sprockets, but in order to do that I'd like to get it off the ground first. I have a set of swing-arm stands front and rear, but the frame of my bike has no place to put a set of swing-arm spools on. I was about to get a new sprocket and chain kit, but then I noticed my rear wheel has 5 sprocket bolts instead of the usual 6. I think the original owner may have done more aftermarket work on the bike than the guy I bought it from realized (or wanted to tell me...). And once I get a chain, I have to find somewhere to get a riveting tool, which I'd rather not buy just yet.
Should I just post in the general tech section to get help on things like this? Or would the CBR 600 F4 section be better?
Also, I can't seem to figure out how to put up pictures. How do I get to do that?

Post in the F4 section.
After you are through moderation (takes a few posts) you'll be able to pu up pictures. Other than that use Photobucket and the IMG link.
Cheers, SB
