New "almost" CBR owner from Cincinnati
Hi all! Been lurking here for a couple weeks, and just bought and 01 F4I on ebay last night, taking delivery next friday (so excited!!!). I'm a new rider, took the MSF course last fall (never had been on a motorcycle before that), and got a 04 Ninja 500 this summer. I've put about 3000 on the Ninja since mid July, read anything aboutriding I could find, spent many hours practicing braking in a parking lot (where I inadvertently found out the little Ninja could do a mini-wheelie), and when I finally got rid of my chicken strips (okay...I still have about 1/8"of oneon the left side) I felt ready to move up.So I'd just been looking for a good deal and hopefully, Igot one. I'm keeping my fingers crossed till it arrives hoping I didn't get screwed.

Lucky bastard...my 900 is getting picked up Wed. 9-26, delivered by Oct. 10th...I finalized my deal on ebay Friday...so I'm looking over 2 weeks (though it is from NY to FL)...enjoy! I'm originally from Cincy myself - just moved to Gainesville a month and a half ago - whodey, go Reds, O-H-I-O. And good choice on the upgrade, CBRs are the shiznit - not quite as much power (not that you can really tell) as some of the other brands, but for handling, forget it - much more comfort and roadfeel.

The guy selling it is going on vacation, and said it'd only be a few hours out of his way to drop it off. So I'm giving him some money four his trouble, plus it saves me about 14 hours of driving to pick it up myself. Here's a pick from him:
And yeah, it's going to be a VERY long week and a half. At least I still have my Ninja to ride until then.
