Welcome to CBRF! Enjoy your F4.

The main thing is to learn how to be aware of what's going on all around you. Once you get comfortable in traffic and on the road - the rest will fall into place.

Take your time, and HAVE FUN!

Throw up some pictures of your bike.

hi and welcome to the forum and 2 wheels
congrats on the f4, get over to the f4 section and they will advise you on anything you need to know
glad to hear your all geared up, although some people ride without leathers ect everyone to their own,if you do have a spill (heaven forbid) you wont have to pick gravel out of your skin or worse
just take your time and your confidence will grow. AND ENJOY YOURSELF

Thanks for the welcome and the good info.
I was never in the military. I was 4F on a medical. Hole in heart, not deployable.
I have a Joe Rocket Jacket with level 3 armor. Is this as good as leathers?
The guy who taught me how to ride was an ex motorcycle cop. He said to pretend I'm invisible and everyone else is drunk.
Thanks again. Pics coming soon

We generally advise to use photo bucket. The images imbed on the site if you use the IMG code.

As far as the jacket, is it a mesh? Either way, gear is gear, and the armor is good thing to have. Especially, in the event of falling off, it's nice to have elbow pads.

My jacket is a Joe Rocket Atomic 4.0 Waterproof. My helmet is a Vega Insight, flat black. Gloves are Fox Bombers. My boots are not motorcycle boots, but they are leather with no laces.
Wanted to mention that I got my helmet almost a year ago. I used it as an incentive to save money to buy my bike. Looked at it every day before work. Tried it on a few (hundred) times.
I'm like a kid on Christmas. I count the hours until I can ride again.
Thinking about riding gives me chills. I'm hooked.
