Default New

Whats up guys, my name is Bobby, yes I am a new guy to the forum not to riding, I have been riding since 97. I am a member on Gixxer.com for now,as of yesterday I traded my k7 750 with 8k miles on a 07 CBR 1000 rr Red with the black wings. Bike is all stock with, are you ready 1802 miles. H*ll yeah man I was pumped its like brand new! I am new to the 1000rr but I owned a CBR 929rr for like 4 yrs it was pearl yellow and black. Anyway I am hoping to get some useful info on these bikes especially in the mod department, as stated bike is like it left the dealer. I did take the goofy reflectors off the tail section. I will post pics later this evening. Also I am a paying member on Gixxer.com so I will be a paying member here also

Hey there Bobby and Welcome to CBRF!! :-)

All I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt is that the CBR1000RR is one of the best sportsbikes out there and being a Honda almost bombproof ... you have so much performance there too and it's very deceptive with some of these Hondas ...

I am sure you will get any modding help you need in the 1000RR forum,
in the meantime enjoy the forums and stay safe

I look forward to seeing some pics :-)

You weren't kidding, man. That thing looks like it just left the dealer. Very nice!
Congrats, and welcome to the CBRF.

Thanks man I am real pumped about this thing. If it wasnt for the mileage being so low I probably would have waited. I had a few bucks invested in my gixxer.

What is a good slip on exhaust for this bike? And is there any good pics of how to eliminate the license plate/turn signals? I know I should use the search button LOL. I am trying to set up everything on this site . Also where do I go to pay for my membership thanks

No paid memberships, man.
Although I suppose you could send some cash to the admins.... LOL...

As far as exhaust, I suppose it's a pretty personal thing as far as what you want.... but stop by the 1000RR section and I'm sure the guys over there will hook you up with some ideas.
