Hello all; my name is Jake and I have just bought a nice, one owner '95 CBR1000F. 24 thousand miles, bags and some other extras, like a Corbin seat, KN filters, etc. Sweet, lovingly cared for bike. I am looking forward to learning as much as I can from this forum on the care and feeding of her. Been around bikes for a long time, first CBR. I live in Oklahoma City.

Good to have you w/ us Jake.

Congrats on your new-to-you bike. Sounds like a nice one & w/ extras too!

Show us some pics of it when you get a chance.

Welcome to the forum.

Welcome Jaknok ! You have one of the best all around bikes ever made IMO and you have found one of the best forums to chat about it.The CBRF doesn't take a back seat to much, including the new bikes. In looks, drivability,speed...Ok I absolutely love mine. When I am asked what other bike I would buy if money were no object, my first thought is ...another one of these I have found the conversations ,topics and how to and what to 's have been invaluable. You have made two good decisions in a row !

It's a great bike. They aren't crazy about the heat though, so keep moving.

See, I saw he was from Oklahoma, so it gets HOT there, and I didn't want him to get alarmed when his fan kicks on and his temp gauge starts moving. Nothing is wrong, just hit the gas!
