Default need help!!!!

i have an 02 cbr 600 f4i. i bought the bike the other day.great bike,its my first one.i bought the bike and it has a problem. (why i need your help) when riding about 70 % of the time it has a hard time getting into 2nd gear.all other gears work great.please let me know what you think.thank you very much

Can you elaborate? Do you feel the teeth are knocking when you try to put into 2nd gear? Maybe try to give less gas when you switch gears.

it sounds like its trying to get in gear, makes a little noise when doing so

Check that the clutch cable is fully dis-engaging the clutch. You should only be
pulling a 1/4 to 3/8's of slack before you fell it pulling.

If it's not that, it may be your 2nd gear is worn. Chances are though, the clutch
is not adjusted properly. Other thing to check, is your shift lever adjusted too
high? if you have trouble lifting the lever smoothly it can masqurade as a
mechanical problem.
