Hi Marty, yeh bleed nipples are cheap enough, just a matter of swapping old for new, will it not tighten up any more.Bill

Nah mate it won’t but how do I know if it’s the calliper or the nipple that’s faulty ?

Also when changing the brake fluid I accidentally let all of it run out completely without topping the master cylinder and I’m reading people are saying that it’s gonna be impossible to get all of the air out now is that correct?

No Marty its not a problem, brake fluid could of been old anyway, just a matter of filling the brake lines and bleeding , can also bleed the master cylinder too , that's where a lot of your air could be trapped, once you have bled the system leave the master cylinder cover off , get one of those plastic tie grips , then put some pressure on the lever (not all the way back to the grip) put the tie back on and leave it in that position over night should bring some air back through the master cylinder, then try the brake and look for any bubbles in the MC

Hi Marty , this is the type of thing, if you pull the brake lever in slightly hold it in that position with one of these and take it off the next morning, you can get these from any hardware shop or garden centre
