They said they were pretty firm with the price. What is reasonable? Are there any dealers online I can compare with to try and bring down the price?

Welcome :D Doesn't seem that bad to me. What is MSRP?? $9K?? I would see if they would give you a deal on some accessories or the warranty. I got 30% off accessories and $200 off my warranty when I got my '05 600RR brand new. Doesn't hurt to ask. Good Luck.

lol come up to canada for a bike ,u can get the same bike here for 12,000 what a deal . we get bent over here good , lol even though the exchange rate has dropped huge nothing here got cheaper not to mention , after ur done gettin screwed on the price differecne here , the goverment walks in next and gives it to u again lol 14% percent tax again lol 8900 ride out price if u got it here in canada for that price you would arrestred for theft and extorsionhttp www.dewildthonda.com/sportbikes.asp#top here is a dealership up here and canadas 2006 pricing . note at the bottom * Prices, if shown, do not include applicable taxes, shipping, dealer fees, or finance charges lol soadd your 14 percent taxes on and the other stuff that 600rr walk out price is somewhere around 14,500 give ir take

Did I miss this... where are you? The price will vary between 7500 and 9500 in the states. I'm east coast in Virginia and has lucky to make it out the door with 9300 and a 4 year warranty. Some shops have a list price of 10k to 11k. I know some have, or say they make it OTD with 7500 in and around Tennessee area. I think, it's one of those state no one lives in.

Hell... I can do better. I went back and found an old thread listing the shop that sold one for $7077 OTD price. I have no proof of this but you can contact them and ask. They are listing an 06 F4I at $7277 so I don't see them selling a bike that has a higher MSRP for less.. but they are cheaper than 9k. Click anywhere here to open their site.

I called two places that are 7700 without tax. The place near me wants 7999 without tax, 8875 with tax. Opinion? Also, looking at different parts, are the 05's and 06's identical as to what can be put on them?
