Default Leathers Question

Can anyone comment on whether new leather stretch and, if so, how much? I just purchased a pair of Teknic leathers and chose a size that I thought would fit best (went with a size that I thought would be on the snug side, as opposed to being loose, with the idea that I would probably not want to be wearing loose fitting leathers)..when I got them, however, I found that they fit very tight..almost too uncomfortable. Any thoughts are appreciated! Thanks..Scott

Yes Ive also heard that you should buy one size snugger than usual when it comes to leathers. The more you wear it, the more omfortable it becomes as it molds to your shape. the first few weeks/days are a bitch though.

I still can't get used to my leather jacket. I've had it for about 6 months but I've only worn it about 4-5 times. When i riding and crouched over a bit it rises a bit and the leather strap at the top chokes me and its a pain in the *** to turn my head in either direction. I know if i wear it more it will loosen, i just can't take it.

It will break in... give it some time. Dont be afraid to wear it when you are not riding your bike. It also makes you look like a hard as$ lol.

If you wear it enough it will stretch. It take time. In the meantime you will have to put up with it. The rule is to get leather that will not roll up on you when you get into an accident.
