Just picked up a beautiful F4i
I can't take my eyes off of her...
5 hour round trip to pick her up, worth every second. Was going to stop on the way home for dinner, but didn't want to get off the bike. Drove 130 miles non stop after 2 years off of a bike. The soreness is wonderful.
I do have a couple questions. The bike didn't come with a manual. I'd love to have one, anyone have a 2001 F4i in PDF?
Also, I don't like the aftermarket tail lights on the bike. Advice on switching them out would be super!
I don't know how to open the rear seat compartment... (FAIL!) I moved up from an F3
There are two bolts just between the seats that I have no idea what they are for...

see the key hole under your tailights? insert key, twist, and lift up the rear seat... also you might have the manual, its supposed to be underneath the rear seat, the two frankenstien bolts are to hang your helmet from, on the inside of the rear seat there are hooks to lock your helmet on. btw beautiful bike! I plan on getting the same exhaust soon.
also, looks like you need a chain guard

Congrats! Nice lookin' bike.
Now, get to know it. Do your maintenance & learn how things work.
Enjoy! :-)
ETA: I have the same Yoshi Tri Oval CF exhaust...good stuff! ;-)
ETA2: The 2 frankenstein bolts are to hook cargo/bungee net strap hooks to secure gear. The helmet hooks are just under the passenger seat...open seat, put helmet d-ring over hook, replace seat...its secure.

Thank you everyone for the warm welcomes!
I'm super excited! I've been driving around an automatic civic for 3.5 years now, and I finally have a fun vehicle again.
I am still trying to find a copy of the manual, it wasn't under the seat. PDF link would be awesome.
I still want to replace the tail lights... I don't even know what the stock look is but i'd probably trade someone for them.
I also wanna thank Gotcbr and Demon for helping me with those other threads that I made while I was hunting for the perfect one.
I'd love to learn more about the service and maintenance side of it. New tires and oil change was 2k miles ago. I don't know how often you do what on a bike...
