Default Just Brought a 600 F4

Hi,

I have just brought a 600F4 in Repsol colours and I love it. I have spent the last 17 years riding Honda Blackbirds CBR1100XX and have clocked up over 170,000 miles on them, much of it 2 up with loads of camping gear.
I live in France and after 10 years the assurance company finally caught up with me and said I had to register it in France. Not so easy though. france has a 100bhp limit on bikes and the Blackbird vastly exceeded that. It would cost too much to convert it so it was reluctantly relegated to the back of the garage. I then brought a BMW R1100RT that had not been run for over 2 years but looked ok. Got it running but hated the thing. It gave me cramp after a few miles and was like going from a race horse to a donkey. And so difficult to work on. Every time I got a fault, the lads on the forum would say "that is very common" I had so many common faults that I just hated it. So sold that, got the wife her own bike and brought myself the CBR 600F4. It has got a Delkevic exhaust system on it and sounds awesome.
I am hoping that this forum will be as good as the BMW one as they were really helpful.

Welcome to the forum!
100bhp limit sucks, sorry about your luck. I can't image a bike like a Goldwing with say 98hp.
