Just another noob in Idaho
Hi all!
Im new to this forum, but not to the world of sport bikes. Ive been riding since about 1986 when I started on a 1984 Yamaha FJ 600. Over the years Ive owned a fleet of bikes and just the other day picked up my latest one, a 2001 CBR 929 RR Erion Racing edition. So far I love it! About 10 years ago I broke my back racing motocross and thought my riding days were over for ever, but a couple of years ago I picked up a ZX7 and realized I was still able to ride. This CBR has been a dream of mine since they first came out with the 900 RR back in the early 90's and now I finally have one. My search was long and hard. I looked at LOTS of bikes and most of them were beat and pretty much junk. I bought this one from the original owner who is in his late 30s and it only had 5200 miles on it. Its as close to like new as I could have ever wanted! The only thing that is not completely original on it is the tires. He put a new set of Diablos on less than 100 miles before I picked it up.
I have some plans on what I want to do to it and hopefully this forum will help me find the things I want.
Here are a couple of pics. Please comment away!!!
