Default im the newbie!

yup another forum newbie here = )

Here is my story..
Name: Jorge
I purchased a 2006 CBR F4I candy blue in march of this year....

took the safety course before hand... never rode a bike before... aced the course and was surprised that i could ride a bike... went to the dealership and got convinced to buy the cbr f4i... I thought the guy was trying to hustle me and just wanted to get rid of that bike but i love it!

I took it out of the dealer ship and flew off it that first day causing some minor damage wich i have since then...

Just recently i started looking online for new plastics to make those scratches go away and stumbled across this forum...

So here i am

So have you been riding since the dealership drop? Or just getting back on? A drop like that after getting the bike would surely suck but at least you get the drop out the way. Like they say there's 2 types of riders, those that have dropped their bike and those that are going to drop their bike. It's more than likely going to happen, but glad to see ya here, take it easy out there! Welcome to the board!

well it was just getting dark out... i was riding saw a big hole freaked out hit it flew off the bike... it slid about 200 feet, broke the left mirror, the shift lever handle, scratched the left faring cracked the front piece and scratched the engine cover, i was a little shaky waited 5 minutes hopped on it rode it home...

immediately the next day i went online and ordered a new mirror and shift lever... recieved them in the mail a week later figured out how to put them on and have been riding since then and now have 1500 miles = )

that fall wasnt going to stop me lol

Welcome !! Glad to hear your not gonna give up on it. Would look at the fall as s/thin that was gonna happen sooner or later !! Have heard stories of guys laying a new bike down in the grass, just to get it over w/ !! Not sure if that works, but can't hurt !!
