Hey guys, just figured I'd introduce myself. I was a Kawi guy and still own an 07 Ninja ZX6R, but picked up an 02 F4i last month and just unloaded my new toy, a black on black 06 cbr 600rr w/ 7000 miles for way to cheap to pass up. The 06 had a rear blowout and needs a set of wheels so i'll be checking classifieds shortly. I'm sure I'll find plenty of info on effective mods for both bikes. The 06 has been sitting up since Nov. and I need to do a tune up, but I put a new battery in and the bike started up with no problems and ran like a new bike. The only issue was a little bit of white smoke from the exhaust. Is this anything major? I havent searched yet but will as soon as this is posted.

 

Hello King_Milo, you got alot of bikes mang. I came close to picking up a Ninja before my F4i; I love all sportbikes, except maybe Hyosung, lol. For that rear wheel, definitely check the classifieds, or e-Bay is good too. That little white smoke could be condensation and/or old gasoline maybe; six months is a long time for gas to sit. Maybe run some Sea Foam through it. The General Tech or 600RR sections would be the place to ask though if it persists. Post some pics if you get a chance & nice to have you aboard.

According to the previous owner, after the blow-out it slid for a bit and hit a curb with that back wheel. Hoping I can find one pretty cheap so I can see how it compares to the Kawi
Not to bad of a buy for less than 1500, i think.
