Ignition issues

Hello everyone, this is my first post and I'm excited for some help! A low level tech replaced my OEM ignition and replaced it with some cheap one because he lost my key. The new, junk ignition started acting up right away. Hit the highway one day and the key flew out of it. Took it to a new tech and replaced the ignition once again only to find that the fuel pump doesn't engage now. It will turnover just fine just no fuel from the pump. He says he's stumped and he knows more than me, i thought I'd reach out here!

Do you have 9v on the pink wire from the ignition? Pretty common issue with cheap switches.

yes! The ECU needs to read the 9v coming from the diode to engage the fuel pump but apparently it's broke as the wires were ripped out.
