I'm working on Streetfighter-ing an '86 CBR750fj Hurricane that was a barn find (literally!). I'll post a build thread in due course, but just wanted to introduce myself first. Looking forward to some good banter, advice and motivation from all you guys.

I like the braided hoses and the carbon fibre

The faired bikes from that era can look a bit naff as a streetfighter, but you've done a good job with this one so far.

The great thing with the 750 is the gear driven cams, so no cam chain rattle to worry about

Thanks guys.The fairings were so far gone (and I'm not keen on the jellymould look) I didn't have much choice but to strip and rebuild. There's some cool details coming on this, with lots more carbon so keep an eye on it!

Wow that’s pretty a pretty cool looking build. All of the braids and colour scheme does give it that retro, kind of Mad Max aggressive look!
