Default Hi there, new project, CBR F2

This week I'm off to pick up my next project bike. It's a CBR F2 circa 1993 that was laid down and stopped via curb.

I just happen to have a '05 GSXR frontend, wheel, and some 07 brakes laying around that are just perfect for the bike.

This bike either lived in a garage all its life or was a track bike. There's no registration on record for the vin and it's only got around 6k on it.

so...
If you had to replace the gauge cluster and front cowl, what would you do? I'm open to crazy ideas as long as they're decent but budgetable.

Welcome to the forums. The f2 is a wonderful bike. But make sure you do some heavy duty checkin on the title/registration before purchase. there have been a few guys get burned because things were a lil fishy.

as far as gauges go, alot of people put f4i guages on the f2 but it takes a few gazintas. there are several walkthroughs on here with more details.

Stop by the F2 section with any questions you run into. buncha guys with lots of moto-knowhow.

Enjoy your time here and ride safe.

Welcome to the Forums!

Likes fearless said, the f4i gauge swap is pretty popular.
Might have to do a few mods on it because of the speedo cable...
but it's a sexy display!

sexy no doubt.

Something like a F4i or Gsxr front end, you can get them pretty cheap on ebay but youll need the frame that holds the speedo and fairing as well.

Im currently working on a 95 F3, escentially the same bike just small differences and the works been pretty cheap.
