RE: Hi there :D - New Member
Thanks everyone
Quick newbie-rider question:
I'm havin a bit of trouble riding at slower speeds like in parking lots. When I get up to speed on the road, I'm pretty stable, but when I'm just trying to move around in a parking lot, I'm so wobbly. Any tips for how to deal with this? Any exercises I can do? Part of it I think is I'm scared of dropping my bike so I don't go hard enough on the throttle, but then... i'm scared to drop the bike. I've had 2 near-drops already but through sheer will kept it up.
Oh also, I'm not comfortably flat-footed on the bike. I'm close to it (1/2 inch away) when I'm standing still, but once the bike is moving and I need to bend my legs forward/backward, i'm toe'ing. Think shaving 1/2" off the seat would help?
