Thank you James,
I am very fussy where my bike is concerned and always kept it polished and clean, plus I dont ride in winter anymore :-)

You say you are making your F1 into a RR look alike?? ..that sounds incredibly ambitious?? .. all the fairings are different and the mounting points will be different too ..then there are things like different headlights etc ... they are totally different bikes really ... I actually loved the look of the old F1 ..I first saw one with my dad in our local dealer in 1987 ...seeing that bike in all its enclosed and smooth bodywork made me decide at 12 years old I wanted a bike ..lol

I still have one of the brochures dad gave me at the time!! :-)

I also loved the red face glow from the clocks on these ..I prefer two clocks on a bike, always have done ... all this digital stuff leaves me a bit cold.

Not you, sixpack, I was referring to my old mate Classic, who's been known to post four in a row...
You'll see my response wasn't to what you said - look in the bottom right hand corner, mate !

hi jules
it shows how much work you put in cleaning your bike its like showroom condition.
I have never seen the brochure you listed if my f1 looked like one in brochure i would not be starting the conversion to rr my one.
i have done lots of reserch and there are also a couple of listings on this site about conversion and it looks quite straight forward just some fabrication of brackets.
Also i need to start a project know that winter is with us.
james
thanks for listing brochure
