Default Hi, new CBR 600 owner in Perth, Australia

Hi there, i recently picked up a '98 CBR 600 F3 and I LOVE IT!!
The power is shoulder-wrenching, but what I love most is how well balanced the bike is and how you can just throw it into turns.
I was a Suzuki man but I think I have been converted... yep I have. Cheers cant wait to chat to other owners about these masterpieces.

Welcome to the CBR Forum Stanthrax,

Yes, CBRs can become quite addictive

We have quite a few Aussies and New Zealanders on the forum so jump right in!

Lots of knowledgeable, friendly folk too.

What Suzukis did you have?

Cheers, SB

Welcome to CBRF, stanthrax! The F3 is a great bike, I'm glad you're enjoying it. How long have you been up on 2 wheels? Great job posting a picture in your first post

Hi thanks for the welcome. I had an 85 gsxr750 which was an absolute wild animal and a 96 gsxr 750 which was a bit more tame but still a rush.

As for being on 2 wheels I had my restricted license for <=250 in around 2002 but my life began in '05 with the unrestricted so I guess I'm around 8 years old now.

Thanks for the warm welcome I'll be seeing you regularly.

Those old gsxr750s had a certain wild feel to them for sure! You definitely have a better handling bike now, although you can't beat those Suzuki paint schemes

Nice color! Do you know where is it from or is it a custom blend?

Welcome to cbrf, very nice f3. Good choice in years too, they are very reliable and rather easy to fix and maintain.

Regarding that paint color I don't have the blend codes for it sorry but the guy who painted it said it is a (wait for it)... A factory hyundai color or similar. I guess four-wheel things do come in handy sometimes. Sorry I can't be more specific

2 arms, 2 legs. 2 wheels
