Default Hi & my CBR 400 powerd dirt buggy

hello, my names martin
I thought id post a few pictures of my project a cbr 400 powered dirt buggy.
I originally bought it as half finished project, now ive never really had much experience of these sorts of projects but id say im handy enought with a spanner haha. Im currently in the process of a full rebuild however i hit a few problems on the way so hopfully i can get a few answers from you guys

heres a photo of it a few days after i bought it

here it is stripped down and getting a much needed sanding with my brother took us hours and i hate sanding

the first bit of primer on the under side

me spraying some primer

primed only got the wheels suspension arms and about 10 other bits too sand and prime :/

also whilst i was doing all this work some horrible person put somthing into my intakes... tried starting the engine then and bang goes the top end on my original engine the 1990 (nc23e-300747) cbr 400

anyway i managed to pickup a bare 88' (nc23-1020481) engine for 300 euro bit pricey but meh... thing is i thought it was a 90'nc23 engine when i bought it and now im not sure if i can interchange the carbs and loom ect from my original engine????

will post more photos of the progress tomorrow anyway

Welcome aboard Martin!

Interesting project you've got going there.

Sorry to hear about what the hater did to sabotage your engine. Hope you can get it going like want. Def keep us posted.

Looks like you're a handy fabricator.

Question is - are you also a rider??? ;-)

Anyway, keep it coming. I enjoy stuff like this. :-)
