Default Hi from Malaysia

A warm greet to all.
Im Asyraf from Malaysia, Selangor,my ride is cbr600 f2. A month of ride before the engine is start sounding harsh.

Now the bike stored in garage for self do overhaul , (cant afford mechanic charges)..need help from all,advises are welcomed

Again Hi to all..safe ride brothers..

Welcome to the forum. Head over to the F2 forum, you will find everything you need... Any download yourself a shop manual.

Hello and welcome to the forum! If the sound is like a loose chain rattling on the right side of your engine, mainly at idle, it`s most probably the cam chain tensioner (CCT) super easy to replace, I`ve managed to breathe some life into one "failed" unit just by thoroughly cleaning it.

Hi again to all brothers..
i just managed to take off the overhead and found scratch on the head bearing and camshaft contact..i dont know if this cause the rattling sound..how to upload picture?

Ouch. Can be too little oil, can be failed oil pump. Either way it's due to lack of lubrication.

You have to upload your pics to a third party server like photobucket, imageshack etc and link from there.

Is the bearing damage causing this loud sound? I m scare its the tappet. Do we have like engine sound problem reference to compare?

Can anyone show me tappet good condition picture..thank you..
