Hi! Looking to get a 1000RR
Hi all! Have my license for a while and am now looking to get a CBR!
Shy moment: I choose CBR 1000RR, but the Repsol ltd. edition specifically because Hugh Laurie rides it. I'm a sucker for greater TV character.
But moreover, it sounds better than Suki, looks more aggressive than Kawi, and is way buffer than Yamaha. Hence why I begin with a CBR in the first place, and plus this forum looks great! =D
So I've been looking around eBay, cycletrader, local craigslist, and many other places for a true Repsol 1000rr, and I've found a few listing. Now, I'm wondering if there is any advice that I should take heed to before I jump the gun? Do you guys have any for me?
I rode 600 and 250, and I feel confidient that, given my SLOW-*** riding nature, 1000 is the best level for me as it sounds, looks, and is just pure sex.
I don't have any pictures to show...I only drive a IS300 and it isn't heavily modded...it is a 5spd however
So all in all, I'm going to begin reading around and hopefully find the bike that I've wanted since 2007!
