Welcome to the CBR Forum Cody,

Nice family history with the CBR! Do post some pictures when you can and ask any questions you need. You will find the CBR1000F bunch knowledgeable and willing to help.

Cheers, SB

Welcome to the forum Cody.

17 with a 1000f? There's something you don't see everyday! You must be mature beyond your years.

well i started on a Honda pacific coast 800 (another family bike passed through the ranks first year model with 68,000 on the clock she still runs 110 like a champ) i was 16 (took msf course 80 days before my 17th birthday) you learn care when your mirror is $400 and your 8 inches longer than a gold wing i turn 18 in January so still fresh but i got some miles under my belt and worked hard to earn the old black bird

Welcome to CBRF! There are literally, a TON of 'canes here on this site. Have fun with your new bike, it sounds like there is a lot of tradition within your family. That's always good.
