Hi From Australia
Hi Guys,
I am James from Ocean Grove in Victoria, Australia.
I have just purchased a 2005 CBR600F after a good 10 years without a bike (I think the wife thinks I am going through a mid life crisis
), so I am fairly excited to have a bike again. She had been dropped by her previous owner so I have a bit of work to do to her before she is up and on the road again. Nothing to major, mainly all cosmetic stuff.
I was going to add a couple of photos of the bike but it didn't seem to want to let me upload straight from my computer, is that normal?
I look forward to chatting to you guys as my journey develops.
James

Hi James and welcome to the forum.
10 years is a long time to go without. You will be back in good form in no time. Its just like riding a bike.....
Its normal to not be able to upload pics directly. If you use a third party picture hosting site like Photobucket, you can get them up now.

Welcome to CBRF... I was bikeless for 16 years before I made my return to riding... All the skills will return and you will be back to form in no time... Looking forward to seeing pic of the bike...
I think it will clean up ok though.
The right side front fairing has broken where the indicator fixes on so I will need to do something there to fix a new indicator
Welcome to CBRF! That's a nice f4i you have there! I'm glad you're riding again after 10 years - I wouldn't call it a midlife crisis - I'd call it getting back on track! (there's nothing wrong with a little bit of dirt and scruff - it's "character".)
Enjoy the bike and the forum.
