Hi all my name is Roy i live down here in Kent..I have just bought an old cbr 600f of 1993 vintage.i bought this to play around with ie tidy up and improve on maybe .the bike has 27,000 mls on the clock and run,s very well just needs a tidy up. the paint work is white with Castrol decals and looks pretty good just a few stone chips i bought the off a bike cop so the running gear is up to scracth
what with the weather i have not yet had a chance to do anything to it but did have a ride a week ago in 25 F deg also have a bandit which is as new now 3yrs old so will use the honda .havent yet worked out how to take the seat off sounds daft i know but will work these things out oh by the way im 57yrs young.

Two screws under the back side of the seat, just lift with your fingers. Welcome to the forum. These guys seem to have all the answers. Pics of your bike next.....Tom

Welcome Roy! We have LOTS of old guys around here - like Trout and Kuro just to name a few.

The rest of the regulars might not be as old but are just as crabby and/or crazy. I'm sure they'll all be making their way in to say hello eventually.

Lots of good info and advice to be had on this forum (just not from me) to help you get your new girl into tip top shape.

And post some photos if you can, we'd all love to see her.

Cheers all ..i might be an old guy but can still cut it with the rest ha ha
been riding since i was around five yrs old thats when the the old feller sat me on a bike.. i put a couple olf photos in the gallery of my Castrol Honda its old but ok lot of snow here in the Uk so not had a lot of time to do anything with it.
