Default Hi all :D

Hi folks,

My names Sam, I'm 37 and from Southampton. I passed my test last year but have only just got around to selling my DT125 and buying a bigger bike. I loved that DT to be honest

I have just recently bought a CBR600 F3 with 15k on the clock. I only picked it up yesterday and I'm loving it so far. Anyway, see you around.

Here's a few photos:

Welcome to the CBR Forum Sam,

Thanks for posting the pictures - that is one, lovely, clean bike. And I love the colour scheme.

Cheers, SB

Welcome to CBRF! Jeez, that's one nice and clean F3! I wish mine could have looked like that. Unfortunately, time is kind to most bikes of that age. Enjoy!

Welcome to the forum.

That's a really clean bike!
I spent an hour trying to get my rotors to look like that the other day...

Thanks for the welcome Overall I'm really pleased with the bike BUT it's going back to the shop soon. When accelerating there is a really annoying buzzing that can be heard clearly above the engine sound. It doesn't occur unless the bike is up to running temperature and under acceleration. If I pull the clutch in when riding but maintain engine revs the noise goes away. If I accelerate harder, the noise just stays the same. If I release the throttle the noise goes away and it doesn't make a noise when in neutral revving the engine.

I've no clue what it is but the bike is still under warranty so it's going back. I'll update this post when I know what's up. Oh i'm pretty sure it's not the CCT as that has just been done.
