Default Hi All, Bill from Tally

Hi guys,

I'm bill from Tallahassee.

I have had 600's in the past, but currently ride a cruiser Shadow vt750. I am in the market for a CBR again, so I thought I'd come and join you guys to get better informed before I jump the gun.

Welcome to the CBR Forum Bill,

Lots of 600 owners on the forum, so ask any questions you need.

Cheers, SB

hey bill, welcome to cbrf. i went to fsu, i loved and really miss tally. i rode the entire time i was up there, there are some very nice roads that go out of tally. there are a ton of bikes f/s in the panhandle, but not too many f/s privately in tally. i'm not sure if fastrixx is still there - but stay away from them if at all possible. precision is my favorite bike shop in tally. they have great prices, they have group rides (or at least they did - tallahasse sportbike syndicate used to ride out of there). they are out by the home depot on capital circle (west). Orion is also good which is on monroe south. those are the 2 i would trust buying motorcycles from. if you ever have any questions about good rides or shops or anything, don't be afraid to ask.

Greetings Bill.

Have a read around and ask whatever you want.
What cbr are you thinking about getting?

Sweet! I love tally, and I am already missing it (graduating this spring). I ride every single day here. I love driving 15 minutes out of town to find twisties and hills. I am not sure if Fastrixxx is still here, a know a few dealers disappeared in the past 3 years. Orion is still here. They have a nice new big building on S. Monroe. Precision still exists but I don't think they do service anymore after one of their mechanics past away in a motorcycle accident. I ride with two groups, a FSU one, and a Tallahassee one.

wow, i didn't realize they had a guy pass away. i remember a mechanic they had - he was a really small guy with really long black hair. he was a pretty serious rider too (track). i hope it wasn't him. he even let me back into their garage area one time....

congratulations on graduating, but i know what you mean about missing it already. my wife and i (she's also an fsu alum) talk about moving back there all the time. welcome to the forum again and i hope you have luck finding a 600. any pictures of your shadow?
