Hi Guys/Gals

I have a 00 cbr600 trackbike and welcome all and any suggestions to improve it or if you have a similar bike I would love to see pics/specs lists to see what other people are running and their views.

Welcome!
Have you seen the picture thread in the F4i section? Lots of pics there to browse through. You may want to look through the sights & sounds section for track stuff.

Where are you located and what track do you ride?

Hi demon
I am in Ireland and unfortunately only have Mondello or Kirkistown to ride, Mondello is a nice track, typical short circuit and reasonably technical. Hoping to travel to Anglesea next season, just a hop across the water for me.
Thanks for the tips on navigating the site!
Regards Tommy

Welcome aboard Tommy!

Congrats on the F4! I have a 2000 F4 as well. Its a great bike. Its my do-everything bike.

One thing you can do to improve it for the track, is to do the split-seat conversion or run a single seat race tail. I did the split-seat conversion (see my tutorial in my sig-line) for the track & I'm able to get off the bike much easier in the turns, as compared to the old banana seat config. Plus, it just looks better too. ;-)

Thumbs up

Thanks Gotcbr

The bike came with the track fairings and is track only, maxton suspension but engine is standard, I am awaiting delivery of an R6 throttle assembly in the post todo the "almost a quick action throttle" conversion, as suggested by some of the guys on here.
I'll keep you updated and appreciate all suggestions.
Cheers mate
