hey all, i've wanted a CBR for quite some time now, and just like always, still can't afford one apparently :P... there is a 2000 pretty close to me in nice shape but the guy wants almost 5 grand for it, i thought it was really steep til i checked KBB and i could only offer like 100 less and still be fair about it, and judging from the prices i've scanned on these forums already these are not cheap bikes (obviously, they are good)...

anyway, just thought i'd introduce myself, i'm james, i'm looking for a bike and have around 1K bucks to work with at this given time, so my options are limited ...

Don't sweat it. Go on Cycletrader.com and look for something in your budget. Keep in mind that you'll probably get what you pay for. Keep your eyes open to our "Private Classifieds" to see what pops up also.

 

Hi and welcome to the boards. Definatly keep an eye out for something in your budget. Normally used bikes are cheaper durning the winter months and more expensive during the warmer months. So if you are on a budget, save up alittle more and wait for winter to roll around. There are good deals out there, you just have to find them. In the mean time, get your gear and take a local MSF class.
