Default Hey everyone

Hey everyone. I'm from maine, 24, and love to ride! Started off on my first strret bike about 5 years ago. Had a 02 cbr 600 f4i. Was a great starter bike! Decided this year to mix it up and sell it for a 06 gsxr 600 which was a horrible idea. Had nothing just issues after issues after issues till I took a stroll through the showroom and spotted my new 2010 leftover cbr1000RR which i can't get enough of. currently 100% stock. MGP growler slip on, k&n air filter, undertail kit, black windsheild, levers, and power commander v are on there way :-) I've never owned a new bike before. Anyone know how long i should wait till i add mods to the bike? it got 200 miles right now. Thanks!

Welcome to CBRF!

Congrats on finding a leftover. Glad you are enjoying it. Just follow the break-in procedures to the letter b/f making modifications.

Good to have you here w/ us. Enjoy!

Thanks for the heads up on checking the break in. The dealer ship wasnt to happy when i went to pick it up cuase the gsxr needed more work than they thought when they gave me a trade in. They were VERY short with me. I was in a out in under 5mins. This is my first new bike an I didnt think i would have to change the oil so soon. I had 225 miles on it and that oil was horrible looking. Thanks for the heads up i was to excited to even think about that.
