Default Hey all

My name is Matt and I live in Ft. Wayne, IN. This month I'll be buying a 2000 F4 with ~5500 miles. It'll be my first CBR and my first sportbike since '97. I started riding in '95 on a early 80's KZ440. Great mileage, no power. I traded that in after a year for a 600 Ninja. I had that for about 2 years until it got repo'd. I was bikeless for a couple yeras when I was handed down my Granddad's 81 Cb650 Custom. That was in 2000 and I rode it until '08 when I decided I wanted a different bike. That bike ended up being a '73 CB750. It's bigger and I can stretch out on it, but the lack of power is disappointing, not to mention that mine rides like a brick. While I was going to my local Honda dealer for 750 parts, I noticed they had an '07 RWB VFR. I wanted it but my credit wouldn't allow it. So... last week I went in for fun, and to see if they still had the Interceptor, and ended up talking to a friend that works the parts counter. He told me of this 2000 CBR that he was selling and that weekend I went to check it out, ride it, and agreed to buy it.

I ride anytime, anywhere. I rode 500 miles+ on my 650 to Missouri, I rode 950 to SC on my ninja in 2 days, 850 miles back in one day, slept in the grass next to my bike, and rode the 750 a couple hours to Sandusky, OH. Next summer I'd like to ride the CBR down to TN and ride the Dragon.

When you're ready to do the Dragon, you let me know. I'll be in shape to ride it by next summer and would be awesome to ride with members.

This is the pic the seller sent me of the 750. It was in almost running condition and took some time to order parts to fix'er up.

The 650. It's been piped and jetted and runs great. I should dyno it and see what' she's putting down.

I made a down payment on the CBR today, but with Christmas coming and snow on the ground I'm not really in a hurry to pay it off quickly.

K3. A trusty old bike, she always starts in a kick or two.
