Hey everyone, I just got my first bike, a black/red 1099 CBR600 F4. The thing is, I can't seel to get it out of neutral. I've never ridden a bike before so I was wondering if someone could help me out here. How do you shift gears properly? I know, it's a total noob question, but even the masters start off knowing nothing. Thanks for the help.

 

Hi and welcome. That's odd. With the clutch lever pulled all the way in you should be able to shift down into 1st then feel and hear a definite clunk. Are you making sure the kick stand is up before shifting?
