Hey
Hey all. Been a member for a while, but just got a 06 CBR1000RR, so I figured it was time to start posting. I have been riding since I was in Junior High, had a 83 Nighthawk 550 in college, and a Suzuki GS500 a few years ago. I put a lot of miles on the GS, over 8000 in about6 months. Anyway, I got my wife into riding, she started out on a Shadow 600, hated it, got a GS500F, out grew it in three months, now she is on a 02 CBR600F4i.
So, I have been wanting this 1000RR since it was announced in late 05. It's the Candy blue and yellow one. A 60 year old college professor had it, only put 890 miles on it, added a power commander, Akropovic exhaust(full system, I think), and frame and swingarm sliders. We picked it up Saturday morning in Tulsa OK. I was on it as soon as we got home, and I rode yesterday also. I would be out on it today, but I came down with a cold Saturday.
Anyway, thats about it for now.
