Default Hey

Hi everyone,

My name is James, I'm from Ottawa. I just bought a 2001 F4i... it's my first street bike (I've been riding dirt since I was 5)... looking forward to getting out & riding, but kinda nervous at the same time!

I've bought all my gear (full leathers, helmet, gloves & boots)... I'm an 'all gear all the time' kinda guy I guess...

If anyone has any pointers or suggestions for my transition from dirt to street, please feel free to tell me... I'm signed up for a gearing up course for the first weekend in May.

Tips: Keep your feet on the pegs, not on the ground like dirt bikes. Elbows are down and tucked into your sides, not up and out.

Hi James, welcome to the site. Let's see some pics of your ride!

My advice is simple... dirt riding doesn't have blue haired old lady's trying to take you out! Be careful and stay on your guard at all times! Good move on taking a riding course! [sm=smiley20.gif]
