Default hey

Hi my name is Rodney. I've been riding for a few months now and i recently purchased a 96 cbr 600 as a step up from my cafe'd 81 sr 250. The bike was a stunt bike so I got it very very cheap, it needs some help to say the least but I'm excited to see where I can take it. I have a few mods I'd like to do but I'm still figuring out exactly what I'd like to do with it. Anyway I'm glad to be apart of this forum with so many knowledgeable members, and also guys like me who don't have too much of a clue.

Welcome to the forum Rodney.

Take a look around. There is no shortage of inspiration for what to do with your bike.
Where in the world are you located?

Welcome to the CBR Forum Rodney,

Usually the best way to do something is to ask the person who has done it before. We all had to start somewhere and if we can share knowledge and experience that will benefit other members - it's all good!

Post some pictures of your ride when you can.

Cheers, SB

well here's the bike as it is when i bought it. the muffler was chopped off, the upper fairing stay was also cut a bit. There's no headlight or gauges, and the seat is a piece. it did come with a set of cbr 600rr fairings that im trying to unload on craigslist/ebay. The engine and most of the frame was painted black and there's a lot of over spray. As of right now I'm waiting for my clymers manual to start doing new (to me) bike maintenance, removing airbox, cleaning carbs, new plugs, etc. what i am planning is the f4i gauge conversion, new muffler, new gas tank, injection molded fairings and a new seat.
