Default HELP - Bad Vibrations Whilst Braking

Hi,

Just got a new CBR600RR last week (08MY), all went well for first 200 miles. Today I have started getting vibrations whilst braking to the point where I can hear the noise and feel the vibrations throught the bars. If I brake from 60mph vibrations start as 25-30 and stay down to about 5mph.

Called Honda who said it should be fine till be first service. Dont fancy finding out they are wrong as I sail into the side of a car!

Any ideas where to look? So far have cleaned the discs with specialist cleaner.

Cheers

Make sure the rotors aren't bent or "out of round" even just the slightest tweak will cause either a pulsing or vibration feeling. Did you buy this bike out of the crate or off the showroom floor? If you physicaly saw the crate was there any damage to it from shipping?? Remember all CBR's are shipped form Japan so it's bound to happen to a bike or two that they may get a little banged up.

I'd definetly take it back and have them fix it, you don't wanna screw around with your brakes!!
