Hello from VA
hey I'm new to street bikes.
awhile ago I came across a 98 cbr600 that was pretty beat up fairings are total trash and missing some parts. I decided to fighter it since funds are low and I like the look. I got it running well and have most of the parts I need to get it legal. currently I am fabricating a sub frame for a ducati monster seat. then it's on to stripping it all down to paint then reassemble.
I know you guys aren't all about the fighters but you seem like a cool group of people so here I am
here is a pic of how I got it then a pic of how it sits now.

thanks guys
yeah I'll start a fighter build thread here I've got one going over at custom fighters with most everything I've gone so far, here is a link My first f3 - Custom Fighters - Custom Streetfighter Motorcycle Forum
Thanks conrice I took a quick look at your build and it looks sweet love the sssa I'll sit down and look through it more closely soon.
The motor is out so I could weld up the sub frame mounting tabs a little more easily. While it is out I plan on checking valve clearance and then it's getting some paint. As for front end I'd like to do an usd fork swap but that's going to have to wait (on some spare money haha). I've got a 7" round head light from a hawk and plan on doing a small cowl for it.
I'm keeping it simple for now.
